Okay, so does anyone remember Queen Novo’s pearl from the MLP movie? Well, I have an idea for a story about it, but I’m a little confused about one thing. Twilight said they could use it to turn themselves into something powerful enough to fight the Storm King. However, this is the first time she’s seen the pearl in action so... Does it really turn creatures into any other creature like how a changeling can shapeshift, or does it just turn them into sea creatures and back?

Although seaponies were first introduced to the franchise in Generation 1, they were given a new life all the way back in 2017 with the MLP movie (and a passing mention in the Season 7 finale).
